Welcome!

I am Miss Hill, and I teach Journalism and Digital Media classes at El Dorado High School and Middle School. I taught 4th grade for one year, 8th grade English for  four years, high school English for 3 years, and this is my third year diving into the world of CTE!

I love to travel and actually take students on trips internationally. I just took 17 students and 8 adults to Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and France for 13 days. My next trip is scheduled for summer 2027, and we're going to Switzerland, Italy, France, and Spain. I'm always willing to talk travel (and show you my pictures); feel free to ask all the questions!

You will most likely see my golden retriever, Timber, out and about with me at school and at events. He is a therapy dog that loves people and will always want to say hi to you! He's a bit of a drama queen and especially loves chest and belly scratches but will also happily accept whatever attention you're willing to give.

I graduated from Wichita State University in 2015 with my bachelors, and I completed my masters degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University in May 2019.

In the past, I've been in charge of prom, coached volleyball and track, helped with curriculum adoptions in two districts, served on several leadership committees, and co-directed the school play. When I'm not running around behind the scenes, I love to watch my students in their activities. I'm looking forward to an awesome year!
