Do you know how your online presence can affect your real life?

Find out below!

Absorb

Watch the edpuzzle video below, and answer the questions as you watch. Also, read the article to the left about a recent police operation in Arkansas that caught 12 online predators.

Do

Enter your information, then click Next. You will answer 10 questions to test your knowledge of online safety. Click Next when you're ready to move on after each question. When you are satisfied with all 10 answers, click Submit. If you want to see your score, you have that option at the end. Either way, your answers will go to your teacher for evaluation.

Connect

Fill out the Google Form to the left. Write a paragraph introducing yourself to our global partners. Be sure they have a good idea of who you are, but keep in mind what you should and should not share with strangers online.

Ideas to include:

  • hobbies

  • sports

  • family

  • likes/dislikes

When you are finished, click Submit to send your response to your teacher. Use the rubric below to self-evaluate your performance on this task. Your teacher will use the same rubric for evaluation.

Evaluate

Congratulations! You've finished the first module of our global learning project. You now know how to interact safely online and can move on to the next step toward collaborating with our global partners.

Next up is Module 2: Video Etiquette. You'll learn how to make videos people will actually want to watch.
